At Kountry Healthcare, we understand the challenge that many hard-working people face when trying to do something as simple as schedule an annual exam or get bloodwork done. Medical expenses are high, particularly for people with high premiums, high deductibles, or no medical insurance at all. Too often, they put off crucial preventative and diagnostic care that would identify, treat, or prevent illness.

Our Team
Jennifer D. Sheffler
MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Jennifer graduated with magna cum laude honors from Ball State with her Master of Science in Nursing in 2018. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from The University of Indianapolis in 2014 and her Associate of Science in Nursing from Vincennes University as a Dean’s list recipient in 2003. She has almost 20 years of experience in several nursing roles, such as pediatrics, research, critical care, and emergency departments. Since being a nurse practitioner, she has worked in family practice and an urgent care setting. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Coalition of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Indiana, and the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners.
With much of Jennifer’s experience being in the hospital systems she has seen how insurance companies drive much of healthcare. When deciding to open her own practice she wanted to help people without insurance companies standing in her way. She decided to make affordable healthcare for people without insurance. Most health care organizations have deals with insurance companies that they charge more than what they get reimbursed, and the rest is written off. For people without insurance, they charge the same amount and expect the full bill to be paid.
Jennifer lives with her incredible husband Dr Sheffler in Greencastle Indiana. She has two grown boys that live in the community as well. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors and loves all animals. Her hobbies include snowmobiling, riding on the four-wheeler with her dog, and gardening.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Indianapolis-2014
- Master of Science in Nursing from Ball State University-Magna Cum Laude-2018

- Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners
